Ok this isnt a biggie for me as i can edit the posters name to fix but it is still a bug, when a user picks or maybe just changes a name to something like Big "Al" Smith  or similar with the " marks in the name, you can't PM them instead a PM will go to the user Big and the user Smith if they exsist.

been using this software since the YaBB.PL days so it could just be a bug that my forum has.  ???

The personal message bug with the quote in the username has been fixed for the next major release of SMF.

I thought this was fixed in 1.1.3 for 1.1.4?

This bug was recently fixed in SVN.  It's not in 1.1.4.

This was somethign I was going to post.

For now I've set an eregi replace on non alphanumeric characters
