I believe in giving compliments when they are due. I want to say SMF has an awesome support staff!
The only other forum I had was with smfforfree which was great also. But when I came here, I had no clue how to make the proper edits on all of the many templates. I couldn't figure out where errors were coming from, etc.
I really was in over my head but the support staff here helped me to feel very comfortable with what I was doing. If I said, "I'm very new to this so please give me an Explanation for Dummies", they would give me a very good explanation on how to do something. Basically, this dummy was able to figure out how to do it because of the support staff.
I find it amazing that even though we don't have to pay for this software and the support staff doesn't get paid for providing support, they are better than most businesses/organizations that we deal with on a daily basis.
You can tell they put their heart and soul into everything they do. They really should be commended for this.

You're right. I no longer use SMF since I don't own a board anymore, but I have to say they also helped me a lot when I was in need. What I like the most is that they care to know if you understood/succeed or not, and if not, they help further.

Yeah, the support staff is awesome. Anytime I have had a problem I found a solution within 5 mins by searching the forum. You guys are doing an excellent job.
