I'm looking for a mod or an easy way to add an announcement or some news that would stay at the top (like a poll) of a particular thread or board, not all of them  - WITHOUT using TP.

The global announcements mod would work but does it allow you to select which boards for the announcement(s) to appear on?

Thanks Hassan and Huw - effectively I'm not at all sure that Global Announcements is what I want...

Board Notes. It lets you place anything above the selected board(s).
