OK, let me see if I can't explain this...
I'm desperately wanting a mod that will make the board/thread title cells and the last post cells highlight on mouseover AND clickable...
The cell containing the title of the board would, when clicked, go to the message index for that board, (naturally)...
The last post cell would go to the last post just like the icon/link that is in that cell by default...
IF the last post cell is empty, the last post cell should NOT highlight, nor be clickable...
Now, as for the message index...
The thread subject cell should behave like both the link in the thread title itself AND the new.gif upon new posts.
I mean, if there were several new posts since you last read the thread, it should take you to the first unread post. If there are no new posts, clicking the cell should take you to the very beginning of the thread
The last post cell should take you to the last post in the thread, of course...
To get an idea of what I'm talking about, visit this site (http://z15.invisionfree.com/Archlord_FreshBlood/index.php)...
This is mainly a theme customisation. I could do it for you, I'm sure.
I use this kind of feature in a custom database of mine, so I am familiar with the code, here is an example on one of my pages:

PM me your contact details.
YES!
That is what I'm talking about.
BUT, can you make it so clicking the subject cells on the message index work as I've described?

Thank you in advance...
I'm interested, too! Can I contact you, murdo? Will you do it for free or not?
Bye,
PS
Could you make a tutorial instead? I'd like that too!!!
Yes, clickable is very similar to mouse over...
The problem with doing a tutorial is that this procedure is THEME SPECIFIC ! Unless you are both using the same theme, and what the same background colour when you move the mouse over, then the code will not apply to you!
I have sent a PM with my MSN address / email address to both of you...
