Otsikko: TWO Chat Stats on main page?
Kirjoitti: vogelap - joulukuu 14, 2004, 04:44:16 IP
I've got TWO Chat Stats listed on the front page of my test site... http://www.overtherhine.com/smf . I'd installed the Integrated Chat 2.1 successfully and without problems.

I then tried to uninstall it to install the version that opens in a new window, and that's when the problem showed up.

I also have two Integrated Chat Settings tabs in Admin->Edit Features and Options, but only one is listed in Admin->Package Manager.

How do I go about removing the duplicate? If I need to remove EVERYTHING related to the Integrated Chat and re-install it, I'm willing.

I only see one, you might try posting this as a reply to the mods original thread ;)

I completely removed and reinstalled SMF. That seemed to fix it, but I wonder how to fix it so it doesn't happen (and I don't have to reinstall!).

Dont know if you found it yet but if not the following:
I had the same problem.

Go to BoardIndex.template.php in your theme folder en delete the double code manually.

// Chat Stats
echo '
<tr>
<td class="catbg" colspan="2">', $txt['chatStats'], '</td>
</tr><tr>
<td class="windowbg" width="20" valign="middle" align="center">
<a href="', $scripturl, '?action=chat">
<img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/chatIcon.gif" alt="', $txt['chatAlt'], '" border="0" /></a>
</td>
<td class="windowbg2" width="100%">
<BR>There are currently <script src="http://www.everywherechat.com/users.asp?room=muziek4um', $modSettings['muziek4um'], '"></script> people talking in the chat room.<BR>
