how to use more than one message icon for a post.
we can select only one message icon per post, how to select more than one icon per post.
Because this would require a moderate level of changes, I think it would be best suited for a mod package to accomplish this.
Thus I am going to move this to Mod Requests (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=79.0) and hopefully some mod writer will see this and be willing to write a mod to do this. :)
Hmm, am I to understand that you would say like to have two drop downs, so maybe you could have a thumbs up and a thumbs down? just as an example.
Yes. I was on the way to suggest something like this too.
Maybe not two drop downs but a list of all messageicons with tickboxes near to them and a admin setting where the admin can choose how many icons a poster can add.
And where would all of these message icons be displayed? If you are thinking about displaying them all on the main page, just think about how many templates you would be messing up!
What would be the benefits of such a mod?
Well I sort of dived in a little bit, but don't old me to anything because the way I had it set up, it just didn't work right. I didn't have any errors though so that is good, I'll keep you updated. If I get this to work though, I would feel great if you considered donating to smf :].
