Otsikko: Importing PHPB into SMF?
Kirjoitti: Steve2007 - helmikuu 07, 2008, 04:08:38 IP
I have just discover SMF and it looks very inviting I must admit.

from what I have read its possible to convert PHPBB to SMF I also figured (Probably wrong) that it litterally converters the phpbb.

My problem is this.

My SMF forum is on a diferent webhost so can I transfer the userfiles and posts etc from my phpbb on the other server to this new one on SMF?

CLear?

Ask this question in convertor request area..
Anyways, untill you can allow accessing database from remote host then you can convert.. !
Other way is to convert to smf on same server then install that data on other server.

Converter Request area is located where? I don't see a convertor Request section of the forum anywhere.

There are converters for both phpBB 2 and 3. Check the download section and the converters and importers board that BlackMage linked to.
