Hi,

This is a great forum, I have allready installed a Snitz but will be converting right away! Good job done by those involved.

My question is thus... Being down under (Australia), we do not celebrate a lot of the holidays on the calendar. Is there a way of removing some of these??

Yes in the admin panel under calendar and then to Manage Holidays; you can add and remove. Welcome to Simple Machines. :)
