I'm building a little portal/cms for smf for my site and am wondering how many people would like one.
features will be:
easily add custom pages
display news from forum board on homepage
login in using ssi
easily add side menu links
Highslide intergration
Tiny MCE editor for custom pages
flash movie gallery
easily intergration of ads
and other things as i think of them...
it will not be a package it will be a portal that relies on SMF for news and user permissions and such.
im am asking this to see how much efort i should put into it and weather i should bother releasing it to the public or not.
Have you seen tinyportal or MKportal?
yea i didnt rly like tinyportal and mkportal seams to bloated for my liking. allthow it is what i am currently using. once i complete my own it will be very easy to change the look of it becose the coding in the theme for it will be so simple...
