Did you make any changes to your forum recently before this error showed up? Any of these mods installed before the problem?

It appears to be a path issue, as it's not able to find the source/Display.php file.

Tho I just searched for two terms on both of those forums and got results without any indicated errors.

Are you still getting the error?  As I was able to search your forum just fine without incident.

Ah that doesn't seem to be working.  When did it stop working and what did you change before if stopped working.

As its Joomla bridge and it's an unsupported now it will be hard to find a solution.

If you're using Orstio's Bridge, or if your forum is not integrated, search in the Joomla Bridge Support (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=138.0) board.

Since searching works fine when your forum is standalone, but not when it's wrapped in Joomla, I'm moving this thread to the Joomla Bridge Support board. Hopefully other members, as well as Orstio and Kindred, can help you here.

Meanwhile, try these settings in SMF Admin > Server Settings > Feature Configuration tab:

Enable local storage of cookies - unchecked (not ticked)
Use subdomain independent cookies - checked (ticked)
Use database driven sessions - checked (ticked)

Upload and run repair_settings.php (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=663) from your browser. Click on the blue "Recommended" links in the Paths & URLs section. Delete repair_settings.php immediately after saving, for security reasons.

Make sure that Settings.php is writable before running repair_settings.php, otherwise you won't be able to save the settings.

They just aren't making Joomla bridges anymore, due to licensing issues.  You'll need to adjust it yourself or seek an alternate CMS system if you want to integrate it into SMF.

If you're using a version of Joomla! later than 1.0.12, maybe replacing joomla.php (I think) with the file from Joomla! 1.0.12 will do the job.

I'm not sure, though, so search in this board and you will probably find an answer.

The best solution is, of course, to modify the bridge so that it works with the latest Joomla! releases, but Simple Machines cannot do that because of the licensing issues.
