what would be the best anti spam mod for version 1.1.4 please?
My old forum would get over 100 spammers register per day at the least. I know we can't prevent all of the spammers but if I could slow them down it would be great.

IME SMF doesn't have 1/100th of the problem that PHPBB and other forum software has.
The main tips
- disable guest posts
Theres some anti-spam bot mods like

Anti-Bot Registration Puzzles
Also using custom profile field mod with custom fields that are MANDATORY also seems to slow them down.

I am going to post a new topic for this in mod requests because i JUST found something that has chronicled all my spammers.. and with some form of mod this could eliminate all my spammers.
I actually have not had a single spammer yet.
I am so happy about that!
