Title: how can i convert to utf-8

my vb in arabic and database teabel in latin1 i want to convert my vb into smf but arabic words can not read after convert
my vb ver is :3.6.7 pl
my database size is :75 mb

It's best to make a backup of the vB database and convert it to UTF-8, then convert to SMF.

However, you have to make sure that the database backup is actually made using latin1 (some hosts use utf8 now).

If you can send me the FTP, vB and SMF info, I should be able to do it for you.

Backup your vB database, export it as latin1 and import it as utf8. I strongly advise that you do this on a separate copy of the database. Then convert to SMF.
