I want gender and location to show in post but can't figure out where to switch this on. I am using Babylon theme which hasn't been quite helpful so far
For gender:
Admin / Current Theme / Show gender images in message view (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=111)
This mod will add age and location - http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=638. If you do not want the age shown there you could apply the code change manually that is shown on the mod page without including the part of code for age.
The MOD, however, is Compatible With:
1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3

It actually is quite unlikely however that the mod doesn't work for 1.1.4. It most likely does.
The most the user may possibly have to do probably would be adding ;version_emulate=1.1.3 to the end of the URL when they go to the package manager and then submitting the changed URL.
