Otsikko: Is there a way to move posts?
Kirjoitti: Broken Arrow - maaliskuu 07, 2008, 08:39:24 IP
Is there a way to move posts from a board and put it in another board on the same forum?

I can only see the automatic delete post option in my admin panel which is set to delete posts after a specific time.  I would like to save all posts and just move them to a special board for old posts.

Is that possible?  Is a mod needed and if so what mod would do this?

thanks!

use split topic option that located with quote, modigy and remove
split the post and move to the board you wish

Whats the purpose of "Split" here?
Use the Move function, found under the topic.

I can see the Split option but I don't see a Move option

Dragoon, where is that option specifically?

If you want to move the whole topic, there are some options and one of them is "move", look below the thread page.

But if you want to move a single post out of a whole topic, do as sherpa said.
