No Not exactly. I mean an announcement, that everyone sees when the log on.
are you talking about the news thing at the top of the forum?
admin > news and newsletters is where the setting for the top news is.
The default themes i know also have a news fader option in admin > current theme which will show a box above your forum with the news in it.
umm i think he means like in phpbb you have a sticky and then you have another like diffrent lvles of inportence :D
they dont relly have that but u can just make it a sticky and add it to the first board of your forum and add anouncement in the title :D
