I was wondering if I can copy the tabs like they are in the forum to another page (.shtml)
If so what files or code do I have to copy?
Chris
have you looked into ssi.php?

in the main folder of your SMF install should exist two files.
ssi_examples.php
ssi_examples.shtml
Open them up in your browser :)
I will look into that, Thanks!!
I just have to say you are very prompt and informative with your answers. It makes less knowledgable people like myself think there is hope after all.
By the way.....Do you ever sleep???
Chris
According to my profile: no

I looked at the files you suggested on my site. They show them in a list. Is there a way to make them look exactly the same.
He sometimes sleeps from 2-11, but usually wakes up in 10 minute intervals between there to check on this site. :P
what do you mean by it shows in a list? the ssi_menu() function should show it styled and all
Eliana: Sad, but True :P
They look exactly like they do here http://www.sjaaaa.com/Forum/ssi_examples.shtml (http://www.sjaaaa.com/Forum/ssi_examples.shtml)
I want them to look like they do here http://www.sjaaaa.com/Forum (http://www.sjaaaa.com/Forum)
Chris
Any idea why it would not show up styled? Do you have anywhere I can look at to see what they should look like in the ssi_examples.shtml?
Thanks,
Chris
i have an idea as to why, but i don't know what to do about it.
The way the menu was displayed changed, i think. Since ssi_menu calls that, it may be the reason.
Thanks again, haven't heard from you in a while....you catching up on sleep?
Anyway....is there a way to copy some code from the forum index.template.php to another page to create the same effect?
well, you could always just copy the source HTML and be sure to include the CSS from SMF. (making sure to remove the class="current" or whichever from the one thats highlighted)
