OK, so I just installed Joomla and I've been trying to get this bridge to work. I've gotten everything installed, but as soon as I try and log in through the bridge, it just sends me back to the front page and does nothing.
However, if I go to my SMF directly and log in, then refresh my front page, all of my user info shows up as if I am logged in. This is what it looks like if I log in to the SMF directly without the bridge:

But, if I click on the link for the bridge component, it will log me out and go to the home page, and look like I wasn't even logged in:

There are no error messages or anything, it just takes me back out to the home page logged out.
I did a search, but I didn't really turn up anything that I found useful. Any ideas or a thread I could check out?? Thanks in advance!
You are using an Joomlahacks Bridge. Http://joomlahacks.com
And you are also using the old version off the bridge that does not work with J! 1.0.13 an higher.
That's no fun... Is there a newer bridge? An easy way to revert to an older Joomla?
I'm starting to think I'm in a puddle of crap and I don't have the shoes for it.
I found a 1.0.13 version in your sig link there. I'll just install that tomorrow unless I hear different from you or someone else between then.
Thanks!
Take a look

So what would I be editing with that? I'm not too sure what to do with your file.
You will find all the information on Joomlahacks.com and Joomlabridge.org about the JSMF bridge

You should replace your joomla file with that package
Should I do that now, as in with everything on there, or should I do it on a fresh install of Joomla?
Thanks
I got it working, thanks again.
Ok, so the bridge works, now I've run into something new....

This comes up when you go to reply to a topic.
Also, some threads won't open when you click on them. You click and it will not load anything, like the thread is gone. I've localized it to threads with more than one page that won't load. One page threads load fine.
You will find better support for the joomlahacks integration at joomlahacks.com
