When upgrading, is it necessary to upload ALL files?
I know /sources and /themes and root files are mandatory, but what about smileys? There are like billion of them, all small, and I just hate all that FTP rutine for small files...
Your forum will still run if you don't replace the smileys. However I think they were optimized a bit in 2.0, so I believe they are slightly improved since 1.1. There really aren't too many smileys though. You can probably skip out on uploading the avatars if you would like.
