Title: Tons of errors in Log!
Post by: dfelix on March 24, 2008, 09:11:08 PM
Hello everyone,

After some days of "testing" a RC3 i checked the error log... where i had more than 17k of error messages.

Most of them are errors generated in source folder..
for example:

Undefined index: view_all_members
File: /home/minilcom/public_html/forum/Sources/Admin.php
Line: 312

or other example...

Undefined index: current_topic
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file
File: /home/minilcom/public_html/forum/Themes/default/Errors.template.php (eval?)
Line: 154

Is this normal?

All site is currently working ok...

try to update your language files

Is this a language problem?

Unfortunately there is no other languages than English for 2.0* yet..

So, i merged the 1.4 portuguese language files with 2.0 english.
I'll check what is missing.

Thanks!

There is a Portuguese language pack for SMF 2.0 Beta 2.1 (although I'm not sure if you can see this since you're not a Charter member). I am not sure how many new language strings (if any) were added in Beta 3, but this would work better than a "merged" language pack.

Any ideia when the Portuguese language pack will be released to non-charted members?

Using the SMF error logging i catched the missing strings.
But... still got some template errors to work on...

Alltough, forum  (http://www.minimotoportugal.com/forum/)is running ok..  :)

I think you can download them through your smf admin panel

A lot of $txt[] strings were changed from 1.1.* to 2.* and if you've just taken the Portuguese from the 1.1.* you will be missing a lot of strings that are in 2.*

If you're unable to get the language specific package you'll need to create one of your own.  This site might help you, H has included the SMF 2.0p3 strings
