Kirjoitti: pesky - maaliskuu 27, 2008, 12:33:24 IP
what is "security disable" setting? Where and how can I switch it off? Pros and cons of turning it off?

Thank you!

Press the help button next to the setting and it'll tell you what it does.

Although there's no setting called literally "Security disable", so you may need to be more specific :)

Disable admin security means that you don't get re-asked for your password if admins goto the admin section.

(basically its to prevent unattended pcs and other people accessing the admin section without the admins approval)

Thanks Karlbenson and Tristan!

does this security setting apply only to admin?

Don't worry, it won't allow users without admin privileges from viewing the admin section.

Only persons with administrative privileges will be allowed to access the admin area. Its just an extra layer of security.
