Title: Server Running SMF 1.1 - Forum No Longer Works
Post by: RangerRik1 on March 31, 2008, 04:53:45 PM
Any help is appreciated...

CentOS Server (running Blue Quartz) and the following:

1.  Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable
2.  VirtueMart 1.0.9
3.  SMF 1.1
4.  Joomla-SMF Integration version 1.1 RC2 patch1

The server's HOME directory temporarily filled up last week and the server went down. We found the problem and opened up ample space again. Our Joomla based e-commerce web site running VirtueMart experienced some database problems but we got that corrected.

Now, however, our forum no longer functions. The original developer, who set all this up, is no longer available. When we click the link http://www.oursiteURL.com/forums we get JUST A BLANK PAGE.

Anyone have any idea how can I start troubleshooting this?

Thanks,
--Rick

Joomla bridge and SMF bridge is not really supported by SMF anymore, but I'll move this to the Joomla section.  A link to your site will help, if there is going to be any support.

You will find better support for that integration at joomlahacks.com.

You should also know that all four of those pieces of software are badly outdated, and you should upgrade for your security.
