Title: Missing topics on import
Post by: kaioshade on January 04, 2005, 02:08:02 PM
I have two forums that were previously using phpbb2, one of them imported successfully to smf with no problem the second forum however has some problems. Upon importing, some topics are dropped and some of them show up twice. I havent changed anything between the installs, so im wondering why one would transfer flawlessly and one would bug out.

If there is any additional info you need let me know

Never mind. For some reason doing a table cleanup on the phpbb board and them reimporting did the trick.

1) Is there anything significantly different on the phpBB2 forum that doesn't work, e.g. different/any mods installed, a lot more posts, a lot more users, etc?

2) Soes the converter give any errors when it's running on the second forum?

3) Are you hitting any disk space limits on your account that might be preventing all the data from being converted/stored?
