Title: Upgrade to 2.0 help
Post by: JakeRobinson on April 10, 2008, 12:57:18 PM
I had a board that was 1.1.4 and I had it since it was 1.1.2 and I was wanting to upgrade to 2.0
First I had 1.1.4 then all of a sudden it disappeared. Then I installed 2.0 on another database then that disappeared. Then I found 1.1.4 again and I found the database it was running off of. So I put in the info of the database in the 2.0 upgrade and that didn't work. So I went with the fulll version and that didn't work.
I am lost and confused will someone help me please.
The database disappeared because of my web service reformatted to a new system.

first off, if your host is formatting without backup of any of their user data -- RUN!!!!!  (Hosts and Hosting (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=4.0)))

Do you currently have a working forum of any version, or a database for one?

No working forum. A database with tables from the previous forum.
