Post by: ekfaysal on May 05, 2008, 10:33:41 AM

i hav asked this question before but not answered yet so i thought i should ask it again.maybe i couldnot clear my point that time..

so my forum usually contain large wallpapers from photobucket or imageshack.
When i post wallpapers bigger then post box, , it addz a scrol to post page btu i know this is default feature of smf.
but i want the entire page to scrol...

like invation boards or vbulletin boards does..
If anybody understand what i want please clear my answer

you will have to modify your theme files. (display.template.php and style.css)

The way SMF build sthe display page, each post is in its own container, with overflow controlled.  So, you'll have to check with container is being used and then alter the tag in style.css to handle the extra large junk the way you want.

(personally, I despise forum pages that resize my display based on what is posted...   I have my forums set to a specific size and look. If some random person can post a 20,000 pixel wide image and break the layout of the forum, because it tries to auto expand to handle the image.... that is BAD, in my book.)

You mean you would rather have to whole post stretched, like phpbb does?

EDIT: Kindred was faster, and had better advice as well. :D
