This is Bittorrent (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent) tracker for use with SMF 2.0 RC4 only.

Read whole message before downloading

Notes

This release is only meant for testing basic Tracker functionality
It's licensed under SMF License which means you are not allowed to redistribute (you can link to this topic)
This is not feature complete
Usage on shared host with large number of peers not recommended
Only tested on MySQL
No warranties
Not tested with large number of peers at all
Priority is on SMF Arcade so don't expect any releases shortly
Users can download all downloads regardless where they are posted
DO NOT PM FOR SUPPORT

Setup
1) Make backup
2) Install using package manager
3) Edit settings
4) Edit permissions

Usage
Upload torrent using attachements feature.
Show torrent on post: [torrent]<id>[/torrent] (automatically added)

you can also add torrents via createTorrent function
usage:

$torrentOptions = array();
$posterOptions = array();
createTorrent(file_get_contents('test.torrent'), $torrentOptions, $posterOptions);

Features

Tracking of statistics (ratio)
Support for announce, scrape, including compact announce and multi scrape
Can select Passkey or IP authentication

... very strange. Never heard that one before. Does that mean I can't modify it?

You can modify it for your purposes.

But not allowed to redistribute the modified or unmodified version.

I was looking for a tracker for SMF about 6 hours ago. Are you physic? LOL.

Every torrent i try i get an error in utorrent stating "invalid torrent file".

Ive used external torrents from the top 2 public trackers and ive tried http://MYDOMIAN.COM/announce.php as the tracker, same error every time.

Ive not checked the log, the torrents worked BEFORE i uploaded them to my forum, i'll reinstall the mod and check the torrents after ive uploaded and redownloaded thru' this tracker system.
