Brilliant Sinan :)
I also added the other actions, such as notes and triggers.

Thank You for this easy to access page :)
I just thought that; no need to show notes and trigger to the user.
Oh yeah for sure!!
Ive only made this viewable to staff. And only one other has access to that section in the AP.
So I put the notes and triggers there for the others.. mods etc
Okay, it's nice. ;)
ok, I am at a loss.... what's wrong with the current ban list?
Great Idea man
And digit this adds a new page to show who is banned

The default banlist is only viewable by the admins. But this can be viewed by the users who has the needed permissions.
It was a great idea

Ok! :D I installed it- and adjusted Banlist.php to show all my bans... (150+!) It is a nice little addition! Thanks!
Wow 150+ bans.
I have 0 bans :p
Well, after 10 years, and over 25,000 members, and a controversial subject, it was to be expected.... and actually, I should have said 150 ban triggers.... not 150 individuals banned! (maybe 50 though! - many spammers!) :o

Add a button to your index.template.php file. Manual installation instructions (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?action=parse;mod=1198;attach=56347;smf_version=1.1.7) and this tutorial may help you:
How do you add custom tabs to the Core (default) theme menu? (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=564)
I need it for my SMF 2.0RC1 ;)
Same here, any update comming ? :o
Same here....
Yeah, could you update it to work with 2.x?
I was wondering if you have any plans on updateing this for the 2.x and other 1.x also

</td>';
// the [member] list button
if ($context['allow_memberlist'])
echo'
<td align="center" class="menubg' , $current_action == 'mlist' ? '2' : '' , '">
<a href="', $scripturl, '?action=mlist">' , $txt[331] , '</a>
</td>';
anybody?
HI psynx, :)
I assume you are using smf 1.1.x?
Are you using the default theme, or a custom theme?
If it is a custom theme, then look for who.english.php in your default themes language folder, as it is unlikely to be in your custom themes language folder.
If it is not there, then add the attached file to that folder.
Regarding your button not showing, double check that you have added the code for your Modifications.english.php, and if you are using utf8, then add it to your Modifications.english-utf8.php.
Remember for groups(mods, global mods etc..), you allow them to see it via the permissions section in your admin panel.
Hopefully this helps :)
@Sabre™
everytime i tried uploading the who.english.php file into my filemanager it uploads but when i checked the list of files in my /default/languages i can not see the 'who.english.php' file i just uploaded.
i am using smf 1.1.10 and dilber mc theme.
I don't know whats up with that mate.
It maybe best to ask your host. Safe mode, mod security or something else maybe enabled.
Very nice mod mate.. will surely try it soon..
I have take over this modification. Thanks [SiNaN].
Now it is compatible with SMF 2 and some changes. For details see the changelog.
Very good mate, and congrats :)
thanks for the mod
Nice Mod
Please update it for SMF 2.0RC3 ;)
Thanks
Thanks! I hope you keep updating this one. I've found it very helpful for finding previously banned members in order to edit/modify their bans. For whatever reason, I often can't find those same members using smf's default ban list.
Can you update please for 2.0? Thanks
update for 2.0 gold please?
1.1.15 and 2.0.1 Updated.
Please report any error and any translation are welcome
Cheers!
Might I suggest changing Ban name to User ?
If having a publicly viewable ban list it just to me seems to make more sense to use User vs Ban name.
Then maybe let the User's name be clickable and lead to their profile.
Either way nice mod.

I have this mod installed, and don't know why but it seems REAL server intensive. If I edit a few bans, I will bring the server to it's knees.
I am not sure if it's related to this mod, or if the basic ban list is the problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
digit
Hi, this is a great mod!
How can I change the heading "Notes" to "Banned by" on the view ban list page for users and the ban list for Admins and Moderators?
Any help would be great :)

Thanks for understanding.
Hello, can you please let me know what code I would need to add so a users avatar will be shown in the ban row (left to the ban name) ? Thank you!

what i don't understand is your syntax for IP ranges: 127.0.0-20.*
would you explain please how i can ban a IP range eg. 208.89.208.0 - 208.89.215.255
what i know is uch a syntax 208.89.208.0/21 for that range, but how i can translate it in your syntax?
Just a quick thanks for the mod. Works perfectly and it's so useful...
@fondlyPiranha i guess he will answer. Personally i can't understand your question.
208.89.208-215.* - IIRC, this is standard SMF syntax.
@live627 thank you for the example pattern - but what means IIRC syntax?
I would like to read a manual, but under "IIRC syntax" i become any useful result .
Can you give me a hint witch way i can find a manual?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH that was awesome dude
A little snarkiness goes a long way.
What happens with a lot of snarkiness? Inquiring minds need to know ahead of time ;D
lol
You get sarcastic? :D
I got lots of things. I daresay in recent days I might even have been grinding my first level in Humility... :o
Ehh you know, the opposite of pride...
If I keep this up I might become the Avatar. Anyway I feel this is getting a lot off topic :P
Indeed but i think we also need some relax sometimes and not being serious all the times :P
Avatar? So you would become all blue and giant? *-* damn i love that movie :P (yeah i know i am misunderstanding but i am meaning to)
sorry but that was not very helpful - if do you checked the search results yourself? - where is a lot of stuff in the results list but any result for a IIRC Syntax manual - what is IIRC?
First result I got for IIRC on Google was for the internet slang website which tells me it stands for "If I Remember Correctly"... which is exactly what was originally meant.
sorry and what is than the "If I Remember Correctly" syntax - i want to read a manual but i cant found any in the result list
you are nut supporting your Mod user friendly i think.
None of us are the mod author. We're just trying to help you.
The syntax live627 said is the one that, if he remembered correctly, is how you should do it. i.e.: 208.89.208-215.*
That means: the last block of an IP address can be anything, the second to last block must be in the range of 208 to 215, and the first two must be 208.89... i.e. exactly as you asked for. He was just saying that he wasn't 100% sure that's what the syntax was but was correct if he remembered it correctly. It's not something that people use very often, actually, so people do forget.
Get off your high horse, please.

1st - It's been 2 pages that people has been trying to tell you that IIRC stands for the damn IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY.
2nd - arantor is not the author of this mod.
3rd - YOU are NOT kind at ALL and you don't even TRY to search for things before asking them! A damn google search shows up that IIRC means IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY probably because THAT is its real meaning!
4th - think again a LOT of times before telling arantor he is not being helpful, he is a recognized legend here with more messages than anybody else so you better show some damn respect dude and if you ask things be sure you have at least READ the previous answers!
5th - yes you can tell ME i'm not being friendly but i don't want other more experienced user to get annoyed answering people like you saying they are not helpful and without even trying to google things. Things like these are the ones annoying the most skilled users making them quit the forum.
@Flavio93Zena
I bow in respect and humility ???
