Can someone give me a step-by-step on how to convert from mambo using phpbb to sf?  Which files do I need?

Remove the Mambo component for phpbb

this should fix the mambo database   (not certain, check with the thread I pointed you to)

Convert phpbb to SMF

add the mambo-smf bridge
