SMF 1.1.2 + Joomla 1.0.12 + bridge 1.6
I have an issue with image attachments.
The images attach fine, and I can see the image preview (thumb) and when I click the attachment file name it saves to my computer and opens fine.
BUT, when I click the thumbnail of the attachment it gives a 404 page.
the only difference in URLs i can see is the ;image placed at the end.
index.php?action=dlattach;topic=3083.0;attach=917;image --> doesn't work
index.php?action=dlattach;topic=3083.0;attach=917 --> downloads
I'd like to be able to see the picture in full view when clicking the ;image link.
Any idea's?

That line is the attachment issue right there, I need it to point to the unbridged image.

the urls that you list are unbridged URLs...
Did you put any redirect code into place?
In your SMF admin panel, did you attempt to change the value of the forum URL in order to redirect people to the bridge instead of the stand alone forum?
Everything else is working bridged and goes to com_smf pages.. I did manage to get this working last night, by change this:
'href' => $scripturl . '?action=dlattach;topic=' . $topic . '.0;attach=' . $attachment['ID_ATTACH'],
to
'href' => '/forum/index.php' . '?action=dlattach;topic=' . $topic . '.0;attach=' . $attachment['ID_ATTACH'],
All the images are working spot on now too.
I did get a couple of errors in the log I will need to look into, but they may/maynot be related.
(wasn't bumping, just noting i hadn't solved it after saying I had.)

In my SMF admin everything seems to point to the /forum but as I mentioned everyone uses the bridges pages. Has been this way for 1yr + now.
Are you suggesting I change the SMF Forum option in Database setting for these ?

I am not suggesting anything. I was asking if you had changed the settings to point to the bridged location, which would be a bad thing to do.
Otherwise, the bridge will rewrite all $scripturl instances to bridged URLs, except for attachments and CAPTCHA images.
Just thought of something -- If you go to your stand alone forum location, are you logged in?
Yeah I didnt mean anything bad when asking about the path, thought I missed doing something I should have ages ago.
Yes i'm logged when acces forum direct, but i've moved the css to the joomla css so it's pretty messy direct.
