I've searched and searched these forums tonight to find a way to add new "message icons".
What I mean by message icons, is the icon that you choose from the drop down list when you start a new message or make a reply. I understand that the icons need to go in the mytheme/images/post directory. But how do I add NEW message icons with new names?
I want to add new names, not just switch icons. :-[ ???
Either directly edit Post.php, and add the new icon name to the icon array in there (Search for xx.gif, and you'll see exactly where I mean)
OR
Install the mod on my package server that gives you an admin area to do just what you want.
Duh! It was so easy >:(.

around line 725 (SMF 1.01) you'll see the array
here you can change the name.

I tried applying the Message Icon Manager & I got 2 failures
10. Execute Modification ./Themes/default/Post.template.php Failure
11. Execute Modification ./Sources/Post.php Failure
I didn't proceed.
how can I fix this?
