I am having a problem with messaging notification. When a member sends messages to another member... the email notification sent to member also contains the senders text of message beside a link to messages on board.
Problem is that 'from' header of these emails is Admin@SMF and many a time user replied to that email.. (instead of going to SMF)... and my mail box gets many unwanted emails.
I want to remove the Sender's text from these notifications. I just want to keep a link to message .... so that user can come to SMF and then reply to message.
Please help me .... how to remove message text from notifications.

Sounds like the option you want to enable. :)

It did not resolved the issue that is why I posted here.
(Bug #2131) Hope this bug to be resolved in next release.
this is happening with me also dispite enabling" Don't allow post text in notifications?" feature ,text is showing in notifications.
Any help on this bug?
