Is there a way of forcing the order of topics within a certain board to be in order of creation?
I've got a news board and its causing some confusion that the top news item is the one which has been commented on most recently.

Thanks SwapsRulez that looks like it would do it, but it's for 1.0.3 and I'm on 2.0 b3.1 :(
Maybe LHVWB can look to modify his to affect all threads in a specific board and not just stickies? I'd post the request in the support thread for that mod :)
I don't really have any plans to extend the Order Stickied Topics mod to anything other than stickies...
But I just realised that there is a mod called "Custom Board Sort (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=382)", that performs the feature that you want for SMF 1.1.5, that means that its currently being supported. Perhaps you could ask the author of the mod to update it for SMF 2 Beta?
