I own www.gamblecorner.net/discuss
And now I can't log into my own forum?
This is what I get when I go to the forum address:
Call to undefined function: () in /home/gambleco/public_html/discuss/Sources/Load.php on line 2225
I can't log in, and I have a member who for the last few days has been getting the same error message... I logged out of my account, and attempted to log in, and now I get the same message
My hosting company says this:
LainaaChad [2:18:03 PM]: Ok, that's a scripting error within the php page itself, we don't support debugging of code.
Chad [2:22:13 PM]: It could be database fragmentation, or perhaps a plugin causing issues.
Can someone please help me fix this?
Thankyou so much!
Can anyone help? Please? :(
1- don't bump
2- SMF version? Mod installed? Theme being used?
what's on liune 2225 of load.php?
1.) I apoligize.
2.) Version 1.1.5
Mod installed... I'm sorry, I don't know what this is.
Theme being used... default, some members have the Red Theme though.
3.) How do I find what's on line 2225 of load.php.
I use front page for editing, and when I click on the load.php a huge notepad comes up, but where do I find the "line"?
One way you can get your forum going is to simply unzip the SMF source locally, then FTP the Load.php to your website overwriting the problem Load.php. This will lose any modifications to the file, both unintentional and intentional, but since you've got only one mod it won't be any trouble to fix that. All you do is uninstall the mod from SMF's admin section, ignore the warning about Load.php and proceed with your uninstall. Then you can reinstall your mod if you like, and if it crashes again then there is some incompatibility.
If you don't have FTP or don't understand FTP, your hosting company probably provides a file upload utility in your cpanel, so just use that to overwrite the problem Load.php.
I've been testing a lot of mods lately, and I've crashed my test SMF forum bunches of times, and whenever the site is totally crashed where I can't access the admin section, I just overwrite all the files that the mod changes. It has worked every single time.
Thanks so much Deprecated... but, the problem is.. I can't even get the forum to come up to log in.
I go to the address of my forum and the screen says:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: () in /home/gambleco/public_html/discuss/Sources/Load.php on line 2225
Weird thing is... there are members and my moderator accessing just fine... I just can't even get the forum to come up on my screen?
You will probably have to FTP the file down to your computer so you can open it and look at line 2225 and see what the problem is. Or you can attach it to a post and somebody here can look into it for you. Wondering why some members are affected and others are not serves no useful purpose until you can examine your biggest clue, the file name and line number.
Ok, now the WEIRDEST of all.
I can get to my forum now. The script error doesn't appear.
I went to log into my account... and, guess what.. I can't!
My password doesn't work.
So, basically I have a forum where everyone else can post and such, but, me, the admin.. can't. :'(
Well use your "forgot password" to recover. If it's sending the recovery email to the wrong address, login to your cpanel or phpMyAdmin and change your password or email address. Ask if you need instructions and tell us which you want (address or password).
