iam using smf 2.3 beta i feel very happy with it , i have a question, i need to prevent users from viewing links and images only but can view all topics, how can i do that??

Do you want to prevent ALL users from seeing links and images or just unregistered (guest) users? You might want to take a look at the Mod Section (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/) and search for them. I recall seeing some mods doing this for guest users.
