Prologue:

Your mod seems to offer both features, include videos and resize images with lightbox.

So, the questions.
- Have somebody notice problems with integration of videos in the gallery while using the lightbox feature for gallery images?
- Is it possible to show images hosted with .imageshack.us inside the gallery (like videos hosted on youtube)?
- Is it necessary to have all three mod installed or
-- will the lightbox feature work also for images which are included inside a post?
--  is it possible to use the "include video" feature inside a post?

The first question is crucial and hopefully somebody have some knowledge and can give an answer.

Just realized something else.  Apostrophes in the album titles cause an SQL error to be generated.  If they are manually escaped it shows as 3 forward slashes (ex: Members\\\'s Rides).  It is also doing the 3 forward slash thing when a manually-escaped apostrophe is used in the description field.  This is probably happening in the media title/description areas as well, but I haven't tested that.

The gray box doesn't seem to appear in the default theme. Any ideas why?

Your using a custom theme like I am so you have to add the button yourself to the image folder. Make sure that you name the button correctly "mgallery".

One suggestion Dragoon:   in the readme, include a list of the directories that are supposed to be created (and are required)?

Well to an extent it supports YouTube, GoogleVideo etc...So I may add it although I use the code from Karl's Auto Embed Video/Audio clips mod.

Sweet man. Would is also be possible to add an option for users to make their albums open? and by that I mean a member could make their album open for users to add media aswell?

I say this because I am using this mod on a video game forum and say I create an album for Gears of War 2... If another user wants to post media on Gears of War 2 also then as it stands now they would have to create their own Gears album when it would just be better if said user could post their Gears2 media in the existing album that I created. Get what I'm saying?

Request.  The midsize representation of an image, not the thumbnail or the fullsize windowed version, but the one that is shown along with Item Info, Poster Info, and Extra Info...   that midsize image is always sized to 500 pixels wide.  Can that be made adjustable in Admin settings?  I want to make it smaller as I am running TP left and right blocks also, and with the image at 500 pixels it is getting shifted down and centered below the Info blocks on the left.

Edit:  I figured out where to make the edit in Mgallery.php, but it would still be great if that were an editable setting in the admin panel.

Ditto. I would desperately need this kind of functionality before using it on my forum as I would not want to manually import hundreds of images I have.

I got the same stuff, except I didn't check my log right away.  I run a relatively small forum and I had 4600+ pages of those same errors over and over again after just a couple of days.  As much as I loved MGallery I have removed it from my forum for the time being.  I'll revisit this mod after SMF2 is out of beta and its time for major revisions to my sites anyway.

Thats not entirely true, it do checks for attempts, although id_member is not loaded preventing it from detecting it properly.

I'm confused ---- when I updated from SMF 1.1.5, I did use the "latest version" of upgrade.php. Do I need to download just that file from the SMF Download area and wade through it manually to see which file might still say "1.1.5"?

Okay, that enabled me to upload it, but for some bizarre reason, it uploaded it twice or something ---- when it plays, no video appears, only sound, and the sound itself overlaps.

In addition, text no longer recognizes apostrophes (example's) -- it inserts a \ instead (example\'s).

ETA: Okay, it shows the video only if you definitely include the pixels of said video. However, the overlap still exists --- it loaded it twice.

The error is either due to the fact that png files don't hold width/height information (although I think that's not true), or that you added an unneeded "/" in the SGL gallery URL.
