Otsikko: Count posts setting
Kirjoitti: mkh - tammikuu 28, 2005, 04:43:03 AP
Hello,

I turned off the count posts setting in one board, but doing this appears to have turned off the count posts across the whole forum.

I know most forums wouldn't do this, which is perhaps why this (issue/bug/problem) has gone unnoticed, but I am trying to stop some kids from only posting for the sake of raising their count. They do this in one board, but I would like to encourage them and others to post in other boards.

Any advice would be welcomed.

cheers
Mandy

I'm not sure what to tell you.  It works fine here.  My post count dutifully goes up in this board (Administration and Functionality (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=11.0)) but does not raise at all in the Test Board (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=7.0).

Yes I am terribly embarrassed at my own stupidity. :-[

Thank you for making me go back and look at this properly.

And sorry for wasting your time.

cheers
