Title: Number of members is not correct
Post by: jezzb on September 20, 2008, 04:43:42 AM
Hi, I don't know if this is an SMF issue or not. I am using SMF2.0 Beta 4. I noticed that when I go to admin center and view all members I get a total of 67 members.

If I go on the first page of the forum by clicking home and have a look at the forum stats at the botton, in total members I get 65 and not 67.

Best Regards
Jezzb

Have you tried Admin area > Forum Maintenance (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?board=64.0;sort=subject) > Recount Totals and Statistics?

:)

I think its not a way that the counting is done wrong, the 67 members are registered members and 65 are the total members present in the site, i assume you have deleted 2 members. did you ?

Or two are registered but are awaiting confirmation?  What method of registration have you got for your members?  Are tehre any that are deactivated or awaiting confirmation?

See the FAQ Why does Total Members show a different number than the memberlist? (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=1093)
