I'm working on my template and want to provide a box in the sidebar with instructions for keyboard shortcuts allowing members to bookmark my forum, link to my forum, and also set my forum as their homepage. I know the other two but don't know what the keyboard shortcut is to set a website as one's homepage. I believe such a shortcut exists although I could be wrong. Thought I saw such a thing listed on a website awhile back.
ctrl-D for firefox and IE?
I know Ctrl+D will bookmark a website but I thought a shortcut existed to make a website one's homepage.
I know on internet explorer linking to
javascript:MakeHomepage()
will make it the home page, but I don't think it works in firefox :-\
Hmm okay. Thanks for the info. Suppose I could put that script where I intended to show the shortcut. BTW, love the avatar.
