i put my board in maintenance mode and now i cant get back in the admin.

'Maintenance' is spelled 'Maintenance' - I'm sure SMF wouldn't mis-spell that. Re-upload the 'index.php' file from a fresh download.

Edit Settings.php and change the value from 2 to 0

didnt do anything
it was set to 1 and i changed it back to 0, then it said smf couldnt connect to the db, maybe busy......?
still the forum didnt come up

got it! just over wrote with the backed up file, not sure what caused it
