Using beta4, all was fine until I added smf simple portal and a second mod called 'reputation v1.5.2' which is a Karma thing. All was working perfectly and I hit the back button and the forum page was not visible, I got a http 500 error.
I have decided to open a ticket as I do not want to mess up any further. I have a full backup of the 2.0 beta3.1 but would prefer to get back my beta4 if possible.

SlammedDime had the fortitude, the knowledge and kindness to sort this one for me.
I inadvertently and stupidly had installed a v3 mod over a v4mod.
Never do that again!
This kind of problem doesn't fall under the smf team remit but they done it for me.
