Title: vBulletin 3 to SMF Converter
Post by: tumickey on February 04, 2005, 02:20:16 AM
QuoteConverting...
Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of vBulletin 3. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the MySQL account used does not have permissions to access it.

i don't know. Can you help me?

You may wish to try installing SMF in the same database as vBulletin.

Same Problem here - this Converter is not working. Think he searches for the wrong Prefix for vBulletin. But i can not find a vBulletin Prefix anywhere in the Code of the Converter.

@[Unknown]  - the Errormessage if it is installed in 2 different Databases is different from this one. ;)

I hope anybody can help. The correct Prefix is vb3_ !

@tumickey  - i see you are using SMF now - how did you solve this Problem ?
