Title: index.php, change comment numbers on users, flickr on profiles, UTF-8 issues

Hello everyone,

I am creating a forum for Salsa lovers (salsamadrid.org) and i created a old informatic forum (magarto.com/foro), but i have some question that I cannot resolve:

- In the old SMF forum i made a hack for removing index.php in each link, but i have checked .htaccess of the forum root and of each folder but i cannot find mod_rewrite sentences, then i think that the hack was done by other way.
Could anyone help me, please?
- I need to change number of comments of each users because they comes from other forum. Is it possible to do that? How?
- Also, i would thank if anyone knows if there is any plugin or mod to implement flickr or google picasa (i prefer flickr) galleries on user's profiles.
- The last one is a report: using a new UTF-8 SMF 2.0 beta 4 forum with all the themes i have tried, makes meta name="description" content shows bad character: it makes &aacute and all the ortografic accents to show incorrectly. Please check it on salsamadrid.org

Could anyone help me, please?

Either install one of the SEO mods (prettyurls or seo4smf may do this) or search for index.php in Querystring.php :)

You can manually change each users postcount in their profile. Alternatively you could copy the smf_members table from the old site and reuse it on your new forum

Probably not if you haven't found it on the Mod Site (http://mods.simplemachines.org). You can request them in Mod Requests (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=79.0) though.
