This may be a known bug (I did a quick search that didn't specifically turn this up), but I haven't seen it mentioned yet.
My forum (not yet open at http://www.kingstonriders.org/forum/) is set to "Member Activation" but it seems to be bugged. The activation e-mail goes through just fine, but when I click on the link to activate the account, I get:
"Error: Activation has already been done." or something to that effect.
I am never asked for the activation code.
Surely this isn't expected behaviour?
Other than that... great forum software. I'm using vBulletin, FUD and have used PHPBB in the past; SMF compares favourably to all of them. The package manager is pretty buggy (works only on default theme!?), but for a 1.01 release I am not going to complain. :)
Don't know the answer to your question, but the Package Manager works in all themes but not all mods will upload with it.
Still having this problem?
Is it perhaps possible you're double clicking the link or anything?

Yes, it's doing it on any new registration. It says that I've already gone through the e-mail activation.
PHP 4.3.10, mmcache, apache 1.3.x, mysql 4.0x, qmail
Worked for me, no errors or anything.

OK... I dunno, thanks. I deleted the account, I didn't know who it was. ;)
