I wanted to ask how and where i can customize the copyright notice on my forum.

I want to change

Or something similar. I wanted to change that but i got a stupid message ;/.

If you have anything against changing that please tell me about it.

If you want it to look diffrent or there are elements in that note that must be in, please tell me so i can write my own note with that elements.

In your custom theme "index.template.php" file you can move the function call "theme_copyright();" to the desired location.

You are not permitted to change the function itself but you are permitted to move the location in your template where it is invoked.

Ehh, yes i found that founction ealier.

So i cant change it ? ;/

I dont want it to look as Lewis Media owns all the content.

That would not be a problem if this board was for plain discusion about what size bear you like but we want to post some mature artistic work there and i have to be sure about the copyright note.

Is there a way to change that not violating youre rules ?
The note dosent look good and i dont think any of my users ( all from Poland ) when the board will be in use will be able to translate that.

I understand that you want advertizing but that can be solved in any other way imho.

I would like to separate the smf copyright note and the content copyright note.

Add text above or below it saying all content and site design copyright you.

Thanks for the info.
I think that would do the trick.

I think ill use it, ill just contact my atorney ( dont know if i translated "Prawnik" from Polish right ) to ask if there is something wrong with 2 copyright notes and such stuff.

I hope that this will work for me becouse the forum is a lot better than phpBB and i dont have time/will to code my own forum.

Just for note, you know that, that function of yours can be just comment out  ;D. You might think of other ways to check if it is really there.

You know - if we think of another way to check if it is really there - people who are malevolent will find another way to get it not displayed ...  ;)
