hey guys
hopefully someone can help me with this one,
Im fairly new to smf but am slowly learning it on my own by just
going thru the css files and themes and seeing what file is where,
and what does what and so forth, but one question I have is that,
(For my client) he wants it so that the guests (who arent even logged
in or registered) to be able to view the calendar. now i have enabled
the calendar already and in the permissions section
Admin > Member Controls > Edit Permissions >
Ive added the permission (while in Global) to the unregistered guests
& ungrouped members to VIEW THE CALENDAR.
although when i log out, and click on the calendar button it still
says i need to register, am i missing something? >:(
any help would be greatly appriciated for this newbie :)

Admin -> Edit Features and Options -> Allow guests to browse the forum
If your client really doesn't want guests browsing the forum, I can show you how to allow them to view the calendar anyway...
