Sorry I searched but couldn't see this particular error, my forum was working fine then it just went down

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.
There were only 10 or 12 users logged on/viewing at the time.
Can you connect using phpMyAdmin? This generally means:
1. The password is wrong.
2. The server is serving too many users.
3. The server crashed.

I have the same problem, but I caused it by install a invision board and use the database on my SMF board. I did this because the invision board said that they don't modify the current database. I have trying everything but nothing works.
Also I can get to myphpadmin and see the current database there, I all ready talk to my hosting support and they said the server is ok.
What it could be?
Any1 has any idea whats going on?

ups, reading the forums I read somenthing about checking the settings.php so I whent there with my ftp and modify it to the right settings and kabooomm!!
