I had gone on to a "paid" board to see any advantages. [all in all I was really intending to come back here lol :P]
However, as I always look to help out when I can I offer up this little bit of news....I have purchased a full invision license for one year. [to end up february of next year.]
If the admin team would like the license I have purchased to help with the smf integration that much more I just may be willing to hand it over! ;D
This product is so great I came back even after purchasing a 'paid board'! I love it! :)

By "integration", do you mean conversion? There is currently a convertor for IPB2, although I'm not sure how well it works (you're welcome to try it out and let us know though).
Just did the conversion seconds ago from a 2.0.3 board...it works great!
Just fyi though: they are planning a 'big' overhaul :cough: of their system soon to incorporate a re-endition of their css system, a new 'portal' thingy-a-mabobber [sp?] lol and a few other things.
If you guys don't want the license I 'spose I could just throw it in yesterdays trash ;)
However, if you would want it...could it be ok if I was then considered a 'helping member'? >:( ::) there i said it lol.
I really didn't want to ask it, but I thought it was a bit o' change to spend to help out the guys here rofl.

Are you asking, basically, if it would be possible to purchase a Charter Membership in exchange for a license for Invision? Or just asking if we want it? I'm not clear on that.
If you're saying, in case we want to look at it for new features... well, we could look at it, see how it's progressed, and make comparisons and etc.... but, we couldn't use it to copy its source code or anything; that would be illegal.

No no no lol....what I had meant was I could give you guys the license (but just remember that I helped you out lol :P) I wouldn't want anything in return just for you to remember I helped out.
I had asked just mainly to help make sure any future [at least for the upcoming year] of the ipb to smf integration would be guaranteed.
