Hi,
I've been going back and forth attempting to get YaBB 2.1 conversion to work, but I keep running into walls.
I have it working most of the way, but one glaring error I just noticed is that topics that in YaBB 2.1 had multiple pages of posts simply don't convert to SMF. Only the first page of posts converts.
I have a board with almost 500k posts, and 22k topics. It's very difficult to actually verify that everything converted ok, but as I go along I see a bunch of little problems.
Here's what I've found so far:
1. Topics with multiple pages only convert the first page. I suspect this is the conversion error I was seeing before where it complains about duplicate keys in mysql.
2. BBcode and smileys are not converting.
3. PMs convert for the most part but in many cases they either don't convert (at all) or only convert a portion of a user's PMs
4. Doesn't look like polls are converting very well either
I'm attaching the convert script I'm currently using.

we are working with your yabb-converter issues for a while now and I think it's about more than time to get this work.
any change for me to get a full copy from your yabb (in a zip file)? I would like to spend some time on the Yabb 2.1 converter but my test system with near 50k posts was converted successfully. So I have no change to fix this errors without a copy..

That would be really great. Certainly the zip file is going to be very large, I can make it available via ftp.
One of the hardest things is to actually verify the conversion... for example, the fact that some people apparently have all their PMs converted while others don't.
If you want I can send you the ftp details via PM.
Another thing I remembered, is that the original join date of each user isn't getting converted either.
I don't recall if that was fixed or not.

Yes, so far it's working ok. I have another conversion coming up, hopefully all will go well.
