Simple Machines Community Forum

Hi

I have 4 categories on my forum so far and it won't let me create any more.

I managed to squeeze another forum in when I placed it in a different order but this seems a little odd.

Any help please?

why won't it let you create anymore?

Whats the error?

When I go "Manage Boards and Categories" and I click "Create new category". I type in the category name under the Full name field and click "Add category". It takes me back to the overview and nothing has changed. The collapsable tick box is ticked and it would be in first place.

Strange.  Do you have phpMyAdmin?  What is phpMyAdmin? (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=21919.0)

Can you try the following queries?

SHOW CREATE TABLE smf_categories;

SELECT COUNT(ID_CAT)
FROM smf_categories;
