Otsikko: Everytime I change themes, I have to run repair*.php! Why?
Kirjoitti: ivanjs - helmikuu 17, 2005, 10:22:37 IP
Everytime I change to a different theme, I get the following error:

Template Parse Error!
It seems something has gone sour on the forum with the template system.  This problem should only be temporary, so please come back later and try again.  If you continue to see this message, please contact the administrator.

You can also try refreshing this page.

Shouldn't changing themes be painless? Yes, to fix it, I can run the repair*.php twins, but somehow this doesn't feel right...

Twins?

Are you sure your paths are all correct in your theme settings?

Twins=repair_settings.php and repair_paths.php.
Yeah, the paths are correct (especially after I run the 2 files above).

And what happens when you change the URL?  The default theme still works, yes?

You can access the default theme by using:

http://www.lyzrdstomp.com/lyzrdforum/index.php?theme=1

Then you can use that to check the settings of the existing themes.  That said, the error message should say that if you're an administrator.
