Title: Catching the members copying posts from smf forums
Post by: Hell Raiser on December 28, 2008, 10:54:39 PM
Hi

I was thinking about this because my people from my forum copy posts and post on other forums i don't like this because it really a hard work of posting info.So if there will be any feature like this we can detect the members easily and warn them

Uh no... You can't really detect people copying other peoples posts... its just not easy to do something like that

I think there may be a mod that will disable the right click... Will look.

This may not stop it, but it will more than likely slow it down.

Hey,
once someone had that problem also. I heard about a global div with 100% width and height over the text. So you cannot do any action's to the text because you do the action's on the overlay-div :)
And - maybe - you can do something with JavaScript like hide the text when you start to mark it.

Regards,
E
